112 Announces ‘Room 112 Tour’ With Total and Case to Celebrate 30 Years of R&B Legacy

CHICAGO, IL — Legendary R&B group 112 is celebrating three decades of music with the launch of the Room 112 Tour, a nationwide trek featuring special guests Total and Case. The tour kicks off November 5 at the Akron Civic Theatre in Oklahoma and runs through February 6, 2026, concluding at Atlanta’s Tabernacle.
A 30-Year Milestone
Powered by Live Nation Urban, the Room 112 Tour commemorates the group’s journey since their 1996 self-titled debut album. That project went multi-platinum, driven by classics like “Only You” (featuring The Notorious B.I.G. and Ma$e) and the timeless ballad “Cupid.” Both singles reached the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 15, establishing 112 as one of R&B’s defining voices of the ’90s.
The tour also honors the legacy of their sophomore release Room 112 (1998), which featured fan favorites like “Love Me” and “Anywhere.”
Reflections From 112
In a 25th anniversary reflection, member Mike noted: “We feel like this album was pretty much the genesis of what is considered now R&B music. We took a chance on ourselves… We definitely contributed to the sound that is R&B music right now.”
Bandmate Slim added: “There are so many gems in that first album. If you’re a vocal enthusiast, do runs, if you’re in certain fields, you can intertwine all different fields. We all came from different dimensions to make this one big solar system.”
Tour Guests: Total and Case
The trek reunites 112 with fellow Bad Boy Records alumni Total, the trio behind the 1996 debut that produced the hit “Can’t You See” featuring The Notorious B.I.G. The James Brown–sampled single also reached No. 13 on the Hot 100, securing Total’s place in R&B history.
Also joining the bill is Case, who first broke out with his gold-certified single “Touch Me, Tease Me” in 1996. More recently, he released “Naked” (2024) with RL and Raheem DeVaughn, leading into his upcoming album Love Jones, Vol. 2.
