STEVENS POINT, WISCONSIN – From family festivals to live music and community celebrations, the Stevens Point area is packed with activities this weekend, September 4–7. Here are three events locals and visitors alike won’t want to miss.
Pacelli Panacea
The 51st annual Pacelli Panacea will take place Friday through Sunday at 1301 Maria Drive in Stevens Point. The festival runs from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Guests can enjoy live music, carnival rides, raffles, silent auctions, and food vendors ranging from brats and burgers to ice cream and snow cones.
Special dining highlights include a Friday night fish fry and a Sunday chicken dinner catered by Ambrosia Pub & Grill. Families will also find a Kid’s Corner with face painting on Saturday. A free shuttle bus will operate from Stevens Point Area Senior High throughout the weekend.

Celebrate Amherst
The 15th annual Celebrate Amherst will bring the community together on Saturday, September 6, with festivities on Main Street from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The day kicks off with a classic car show, alongside craft vendors, food and drink stalls, and a silent auction.
Family-friendly activities at the Amherst Opera House include face painting, henna tattoos, balloon art, 4-H animals, and emergency vehicle displays. Live performances feature the Tomorrow River String Band in the afternoon and a street dance with Star Six Nine from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The Intergalactic Gala
For those seeking nightlife, the Intergalactic Gala will take over Great Northern Distilling on Saturday, September 6, from 7 p.m. to 11:55 p.m. The evening blends live music, dancing, and live art, with performances by Yas & the Jewelers, Watt Millians, R3N3, and DJ John Brown.
Doors open at 7 p.m., and the $10 cover charge includes entry to all performances. Guests can expect a high-energy showcase celebrating local and regional talent.
