Downtown Greenville’s Seratonic Lounge Opens with David Cook and Nashville Stars

CHICAGO — Downtown Greenville’s music scene is getting a major upgrade with the opening of Seratonic Venue & Lounge, a 300-seat performance space that blends high-quality live music with upscale comfort. Located inside the AC Hotel on Main Street at Camperdown Plaza, the venue is designed to be as versatile as it is stylish — hosting not only concerts but also private parties, special events, and more, according to Greenville Online.

A Venue Designed for the Ultimate Listening Experience

AC Hotel General Manager John Deck describes Seratonic as “a space where music lovers can experience something truly special – where the acoustics are perfect, the atmosphere is sophisticated, and every performance feels like a private concert.”

Unlike most music venues, table service will be available throughout the show, featuring a curated cocktail menu and small plates, enhancing the evening’s experience for attendees.

Opening Acts Set the Tone

The venue’s debut performance will feature David Cook, winner of American Idol Season 7, on August 16. Cook’s acoustic show will offer both general admission and VIP seating options. Since his Idol win, he has scored multiple Billboard Hot 100 hits, earned platinum singles and albums, and even appeared on Broadway in Kinky Boots in 2018.

Later in the month, Nashville-based Aly Cutter will perform on August 22 and 23. Known for putting unique spins on popular songs, Cutter will be accompanied by her full band for two nights of high-energy performances.

In September, Jara Ward — originally from Missoula, Montana, and now based in Nashville — will take the stage on September 19 and 20 during Greenville’s Euphoria weekend. Her style, described on her website as “fueled by her tenacity and the love of a good country song,” promises to resonate with country music fans.

A Boost for Greenville’s Growing Music Scene

With its central location and mix of national and local talent, Seratonic aims to complement Greenville’s smaller live music venues, strengthening the city’s reputation as a music destination. As Greenville Online notes, the venue’s addition reflects a broader trend of growth in the region’s entertainment options.
