Cincinnati Music Festival 2025: What to Know for a Fun, Smooth Weekend

OH — With headliners like Earth, Wind & Fire, LL Cool J, and Toni Braxton, the Cincinnati Music Festival 2025 is set to bring an unforgettable weekend of music, culture, and community to the Queen City. But while thousands will descend on downtown Cincinnati for the July 24–26 celebration, organizers and local officials are urging attendees to plan ahead — especially when it comes to traffic, weather, and security.
Star-Studded Lineup Across Three Days
The weekend kicks off Thursday with a hip-hop celebration at the Andrew J. Brady Center, featuring Scarface, Goodie Mob, and The Sugarhill Gang with The Furious Five. Friday and Saturday’s main events take place at Paycor Stadium, where fans can catch sets from R&B and soul legends including:
- Earth, Wind & Fire
- LL Cool J
- Toni Braxton
- And more iconic performers still to be revealed
Adding to the atmosphere is Festival513, a cultural fair with food, vendors, and live broadcasts — including the popular Ricky Smiley Morning Show live from Fountain Square. Fitness fans can also join the Queen City 5K, rounding out the festival’s mix of music and motion.
Expect Major Road Closures Downtown
Attendees should prepare for extensive road closures and rerouted traffic near downtown venues. From July 24–26, the following streets will be impacted:

- Elm Street (south of 2nd): Closed evenings during concerts
- Freedom Way, Race Street, Rosa Parks Street: Closed early Thursday for Festival513
- Joe Nuxhall Way (south of 2nd): Closed during all concert evenings
- Additional closures expected post-concert near Walnut Street, Gest Street, and Third Street
If you’re unfamiliar with the area, it’s strongly advised to map alternate routes or use public transportation to reduce stress.
