All-Stars Under the Stars Rocks Wausau’s 400 Block in Support of Local Veterans

WAUSAU, WI — Thousands filled the 400 Block on Wednesday evening for the 11th annual All-Stars Under the Stars concert, a free community event that combined live music, raffles, and fundraising efforts to benefit the Man of Honor Society. With clear skies and a strong turnout, the night served as both a celebration of music and a heartfelt show of support for local veterans.
A Community Gathering for a Greater Cause
Founded as a non-profit concert series, All-Stars Under the Stars has become a staple of Wausau’s summer calendar, raising money for local charities year after year. In 2025, proceeds were directed to the Man of Honor Society, an organization dedicated to providing food, housing, and essential resources to veterans in Marathon County.
“It’s all about supporting the veterans again. They’ve done so many things for us, made so many sacrifices for us throughout their lifetimes. This is our opportunity to give back and support them in return,” said Josh Zenner, Director of All-Stars Under the Stars.
Musical Spotlight: Journey Tribute Band “Separate Ways”
Headlining the night was Separate Ways, a well-regarded Journey tribute band that brought timeless classics like “Don’t Stop Believin’” and “Faithfully” to life. For many in the crowd, it was a nostalgic reminder of arena rock’s golden era.
“I’ve always wanted to hear him play, and this gives a great opportunity,” shared Ben Welch of Weston, one of the many attendees thrilled to see the band perform live.
The concert opened with a moving 21-gun salute, speeches honoring veterans, and a rendition of the National Anthem that set the tone for the evening.
Fundraising, Fun, and Local Support
While the concert itself was free to attend, fundraising came through a variety of channels. Supporters contributed through 50/50 raffles, a silent auction for Brewers tickets, and VIP seating, which placed donors directly in front of the stage for $25 per person.
“The support that we get from the community itself is just absolutely phenomenal,” said Jeff Morgan, President of the Man of Honor Society.
For many, the evening was about more than just music. “I’m here to support the Man of Honor Society; it’s a really great fundraiser, I’m so excited to be out here tonight,” said Kori Lamberg of Kronenwetter, reflecting the community-driven atmosphere that has made the event a success for more than a decade.
The 11th annual All-Stars Under the Stars once again proved the power of music to unite and uplift. By combining live performances with purposeful fundraising, the concert not only entertained but also ensured that local veterans receive the support they deserve.
