Apple Launches $19.99 AppleCare One Plan to Cover Three Devices Under One Subscription

CHICAGO — Apple has officially launched AppleCare One, a new $19.99 per month subscription plan that allows users to bundle protection for up to three Apple devices — including iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, and Apple Watches — under one streamlined plan.
The new offering simplifies what used to be separate AppleCare+ subscriptions for each device, and brings cost savings, broader coverage, and more flexibility to Apple users.
“AppleCare One pricing is the same regardless of the products that are covered,” the company stated, meaning users could enroll their iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch and save up to $11 monthly compared to three separate AppleCare+ plans.
What’s Included in AppleCare One
The AppleCare One subscription delivers all the standard AppleCare+ features and adds a few new perks:
- Unlimited accidental damage repairs (like drops or spills)
- 24/7 expert support from Apple
- Battery coverage
- Theft and loss protection — now expanded to iPads and Apple Watches (not just iPhones)
For users needing more coverage, each additional device can be added for $5.99/month.
Now Covers Older Devices, Too
For the first time, Apple is letting customers add coverage to existing devices — even those up to four years old, as long as they are in good condition. This makes AppleCare One a major shift from the old system, where coverage had to be bought at the time of purchase or shortly thereafter.
Devices may need to pass a diagnostic check, either at an Apple Store or using the Apple Support app on an iPhone or iPad, before they can be added to the subscription.
Available Now — U.S. Launch First
AppleCare One is now available nationwide in the U.S.. Customers can enroll by visiting Apple Stores, or through the Settings app on their iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
For users who only want coverage for a single device, AppleCare+ will continue to be offered separately. However, Apple confirmed that the expanded Theft and Loss coverage for iPad and Apple Watch will also be available under individual AppleCare+ plans.
