Chappell Roan Announces Surprise Pop-Up Shows in NYC, Kansas City, and L.A.

CHICAGO — Rising pop icon Chappell Roan is hitting the road again — this time with a surprise string of intimate concerts under the banner “Visions of Damsels and Other Dangerous Things.” The special run of pop-up shows will hit three cities close to her heart: Forest Hills, New York, Kansas City, Missouri, and Pasadena, California.
The announcement comes just one day after Roan began teasing her next single, “The Subway,” with posters popping up in NYC and clips surfacing online.
Tour Dates and Locations Announced
Roan’s mini-tour begins with four shows at Forest Hills Stadium in New York this September. She’ll then travel to the Midwest for two performances at the Museum and Memorial Park in Kansas City, followed by a finale in California at Pasadena’s Brookside at the Rose Bowl, where she’ll close out with two final shows.
“I love these three cities so much and wanted the chance to do something special for them this year,” Roan said in her official statement.
Fair AXS Ticketing System to Keep Prices Down
Roan emphasized the importance of making her shows accessible:
“Since I started performing, I’ve always wanted my shows to be a party that everyone is invited to, and the only way to do that is to keep ticket prices affordable and away from scalpers.”
To support that goal, the tour will use Fair AXS ticketing, a verified system that randomly selects registrants to purchase up to four tickets. Ticket registration is open from July 24 through July 27 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Fans selected between August 5–7 will receive purchase access.
Fans can register via AXS and get more tour info on Roan’s official site.
One Dollar Per Ticket Donated to Trans Youth Organizations
Continuing her advocacy and community support, Chappell Roan has pledged to donate $1 from every ticket sold to organizations that offer resources and protection for trans youth.
“It is so important that I give back to the trans community, as they have given me so much throughout my entire career,” she said.
New Single “The Subway” Coming Soon
Ahead of her tour, Roan is stirring up buzz with signs pointing to the imminent release of her next single, “The Subway.” Fans spotted NYC posters reading “Going through a breakup? Get bangs!” — a nod to Roan’s iconic image and lyrical wit.
A leaked teaser clip showed a moving truck labeled “THE SBWY” driving past a Saskatchewan welcome sign, as Roan’s red hair waved out the window. The teased lyrics include:
“I made a promise / If in four months these feelings ain’t gone / Well, f**k this city / I’m moving to Saskatchewan.”
While no release date is confirmed, it’s expected to drop Thursday — likely just ahead of or in tandem with the concert registration period.
