CHICAGO — Neo-soul icon Erykah Badu is celebrating 25 years of her groundbreaking 2000 album Mama’s Gun with a nationwide anniversary tour, and fans in Chicago are in for a double treat this December.

The tour — which follows her summer “Abi & Alan” trek with The Alchemist — kicks off this fall and spans several major U.S. cities. Badu will perform at The Chicago Theatre on December 2 and 3, offering fans an intimate yet electrifying experience inside one of the city’s most historic venues.

Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, August 1 at 10 AM local time, with presales beginning Tuesday, July 29. Fans are encouraged to act fast, as Badu’s last tours have sold out quickly.
