Free Young Musicians Forum Concert Sept. 14 Features Kyle Glasgow and Tessa Ni

SCHENECTADY, New York — The Young Musicians Forum will host a free concert on Sunday, Sept. 14, featuring clarinetist Kyle Glasgow and pianist Tessa Ni, in an afternoon program of classical works at the Schenectady County Public Library.

Program Highlights

The performance will showcase an eclectic mix of composers, including Béla Bartók, Kenji Bunch, Amanda Harberg, Henri Rabaud, and Paul Mothersole.

Of special note will be Three Studies from Delaytudes, a contemporary work for clarinet and live audio delay effects composed by Mothersole. The piece blends traditional performance with cutting-edge sound manipulation, offering audiences a unique musical experience.

About the Performers

  • Kyle Glasgow is currently pursuing his Master’s degree at the Mannes School of Music in New York City and has performed across the U.S. and Europe.
  • Tessa Ni, a second-year student at Bard Conservatory of Music, has won multiple piano competitions and toured extensively in China.

Together, the duo will bring technical precision and fresh artistry to the Forum’s stage.
