Gas Prices Hold Steady in West Central Kentucky as National Average Climbs

PADUCAH, KY — Drivers in West Central Kentucky are seeing stable gas prices this week, even as the national average continues to climb.

Regional Prices Steady

According to AAA’s East Central Gas Report, the regional average remained unchanged at $2.75 per gallon. In Paducah, the local average ticked slightly higher, at $2.76 per gallon.

National Prices Increase

Nationally, the average price for regular gasoline increased by two cents, reaching $3.18 per gallon.

Industry analysts say part of the increase stems from a pipeline outage affecting supplies in the Pacific Northwest, where states like Oregon and Washington have seen higher prices.

Local Impact

While national disruptions are pushing up prices elsewhere, West Central Kentucky’s stability provides some relief for drivers who have been watching fuel costs fluctuate in recent months.

Officials said they will continue to monitor pricing trends as the fall travel season picks up.
