NEW YORK, NY — Turning a challenge into a celebration, Pulse Events has officially announced the Great Heat Festival, a brand-new summer experience launching July 25–26 in Brooklyn, NY. Originally set to return as S20 New York 2.0, the event has been transformed into a culturally inspired celebration of music, community, and summer energy.
The reimagined festival takes its name from “Great Heat” (大暑 – Dàshǔ) — a traditional solar term in the Chinese calendar marking the most intense days of summer. According to Pulse Events, it symbolizes transformation, brilliance, and joy — themes that align perfectly with their vision for this upgraded event.
New Venue, Same Star-Powered Lineup
The festival will now take place at The Great Hall at Avant Gardner, promising a more intimate, high-energy atmosphere while preserving the original artist lineup. Fans can still expect electrifying performances from:
