Actress Lisa Roti has TV credits that include co-starring roles on NBC’s Chicago PD and Fox’s The Mob Doctor.
Her current projects include a starring role in upcoming thriller “Laundromat,” and Ms. Roti is also the official spokesperson for Heifer International—a global leader in the fight against hunger.
As a noted musician, her debut jazz album, “Comes Love,” charted in four continents and catapulted to the top of CD BABY “Blues: Jazzy Blues Album” category. Lisa’s soulful interpretations of jazz standards propelled her through venues and theaters throughout the U.S., Thailand, Amsterdam, Guatemala and China, and landed her a coveted performance in Beijing for the U.S. State Department’s 100,000 Strong Initiative.
Lisa is a born performer who has spent her life training in and devoted to The Arts. Her studies began at an early age and earned her the role of principal dancer with The Boitsov Classical Ballet Company. Her passion for music and vocal abilities drew her to musical theatre, which ultimately led to her studies with Jazz Legends, such as Franz Jackson, and the birth and success of “Comes Love.” A Graduate of The University of Illinois at Chicago, she has studied privately in addition to her studies at Acting Studio Chicago, The Green Room Studio and is an ongoing student of The Second City Training Center.
While Lisa has delved into many artistic forms to find ultimate expression as an artist, she is foremost an actor whose passion and motivation lie in the art of storytelling as a vehicle for better understanding of the human experience.
