Pixel 10 Pro XL Renders Show Muted Colors — Fans Want the Fun Pixel 10 Shades Instead

CHICAGO — New renders of the Pixel 10 Pro XL have surfaced online — but while the phone looks sleek, fans are underwhelmed by what they’re calling a dull, washed-out color lineup. The leaks arrive just weeks before Google’s official Pixel 10 launch and showcase the same palette seen in the Pixel 10 Pro, with no bold new additions.

The latest preview was posted by Android Headlines and later confirmed by Android Authority, revealing that the Pro XL model will be available in Moonstone, Obsidian, Jade, and Porcelain — all relatively muted tones that match earlier Pixel Pro leaks.

Design Matches the 10 Pro — Down to the Camera Layout

From a hardware standpoint, the Pixel 10 Pro XL appears nearly identical to the Pixel 10 Pro:

  • Triple-camera layout remains unchanged
  • Temperature sensor returns below the flash
  • Google’s signature curved frame and visor-style camera bar are intact

“Unless we’re carefully measuring ratios here,” noted Android Authority, “we’d be hard-pressed to tell any of these XL shots apart from some 10 Pro renders.”

Color Disappointment: Where Are Indigo and Limoncello?

Much of the fan criticism centers on the lack of vibrant color options. Earlier renders of the smaller Pixel 10 showcased two bold shades:

  • Indigo – a rich deep blue
  • Limoncello – a citrus yellow-green pop

Neither of those options made it to the Pro or Pro XL versions. While this isn’t unusual for Google — past Pro lines have also favored muted palettes — some fans say it’s time for the “serious” Pixel phones to embrace some personality.

“Is it written somewhere that ‘Pro’ fans can’t come in ‘fun’ colors?” the Android Authority team asked.

When to Expect the Official Reveal

Google is expected to launch the Pixel 10 lineup in August, based on teasers already appearing in the Google Store. With final renders now leaking, the official product page and preorder details could appear any day.
