PURPLE KISS Announce Final North American Tour Ahead of Disbandment This November

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA — K-pop girl group PURPLE KISS have announced their final tour dates as they prepare to disband in November 2025. The farewell run, titled A Violet to Remember, will bring the group to North America this fall, including a stop in Chicago on October 16.

The End of an Era

Earlier this month, the group’s agency RBW Entertainment confirmed that PURPLE KISS would be parting ways after heartfelt discussions with the members. “Because of the members’ deep affection for the group, we engaged in long and thoughtful discussions about how to move forward. As a result, we reached a conclusion based on mutual respect and support for each member’s individual dreams,” RBW said in a statement.

Although group activities will conclude in November, the company promised that all previously scheduled promotions — including album releases and tours — will continue as a way to thank fans, known as PLORY.

Final Releases and Farewell Tour

Before saying goodbye, PURPLE KISS will release their first English-language album, OUR NOW, on August 31. The project will serve as a centerpiece for their final promotions, alongside upcoming activities in Japan and Korea.

The North American tour kicks off October 5 in Charlotte, NC, with stops in major cities including:

  • Oct. 7 — Washington, DC
  • Oct. 8 — Philadelphia, PA
  • Oct. 10 — New York City, NY
  • Oct. 11 — Boston, MA
  • Oct. 13 — Columbus, OH
  • Oct. 14 — Detroit, MI
  • Oct. 16 — Chicago, IL
  • Oct. 18 — Minneapolis, MN
  • Oct. 20 — Kansas City, MO
  • Oct. 22 — Dallas, TX
  • Oct. 25 — Los Angeles, CA
  • Oct. 28 — San Jose, CA

A final concert in South Korea has not yet been announced but is expected to officially close the group’s five-year career.

Gratitude From RBW

RBW Entertainment expressed appreciation to both fans and members: “RBW has shared countless moments with PURPLE KISS and extends heartfelt gratitude to the six members who made PURPLE KISS shine. Even during inexperienced and imperfect days, every moment shone brightly because of the members who gave their all with passion and PLORY, who have always stood steadfastly by their side.”

Why It Matters

Since their 2021 debut, PURPLE KISS built a reputation for strong vocals, creative concepts, and fan-centered storytelling. Their disbandment marks the end of a group that pushed the boundaries of K-pop’s fourth generation while cultivating a loyal international fanbase.

For Chicago fans, the October 16 concert will be a bittersweet chance to celebrate PURPLE KISS one final time — and to say goodbye to a group that left a lasting mark on the global K-pop scene.
