Shakira Expands Record-Breaking Tour With 30 New Latin American Shows

MIAMI — Global pop icon Shakira is officially extending her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour after a record-breaking run through North and South America. The superstar announced a second Latin American leg, adding more than 30 new shows across nine countries — a move fueled by extraordinary ticket demand.
Tour Kicks Off August 11 in Mexico
The extended leg begins August 11 in Tijuana, Mexico, and wraps up on December 9 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In just the first wave of new shows, over 800,000 tickets have already been sold, underscoring Shakira’s unstoppable draw across Latin America.
The new dates include:
- 17 shows in Mexico (including four in Mexico City)
- Sold-out shows in Paraguay, Colombia, Ecuador, and Uruguay
- Final performances in Argentina at Estadio Vélez Sarsfield
Historic Records Across South America
Shakira’s second tour leg has already rewritten local music history:
- In Paraguay, she became the first artist ever to book two consecutive stadium shows at Estadio Ueno La Nueva Olla.
- In Uruguay, she sold out Estadio Centenario for two nights in just 48 hours.
- In Quito, Ecuador, demand forced organizers to add a third show, after 90,000 tickets sold out in a single day.
In Mexico, ticket sales have surpassed the 1 million mark, with shows scheduled in cities like Guadalajara, Puebla, Torreón, and Querétaro.
A Tour That’s Reshaping the Industry
With over 2 million fans attending worldwide so far, the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour is already being hailed as one of the biggest Latin tours in music history. The stage production, theming, and setlist — inspired by Shakira’s album of resilience and self-renewal — have resonated powerfully with fans of all ages.
Her North American leg wraps up this week with a sold-out run in California — including two nights at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood and a final show at Fresno’s Valley Children’s Stadium on August 7.
