XG Announces Live Album Release from Tokyo Dome Finale of First World Tour

TOKYO — Rising global girl group XG (Xtraordinary Girls) has announced the release of a new live album titled “XG 1st World Tour ‘The First HOWL’ Live,” capturing the energy and emotion of their final concert at Tokyo Dome earlier this year.

A Milestone Moment at Tokyo Dome

The live album will include 18 songs recorded during XG’s May 14 performance at Tokyo’s legendary dome — a landmark event that served as the final stop of their first-ever world tour. The group drew a crowd of 50,000 fans, marking a major milestone for the all-Japanese K-pop sensation.

Global Impact of ‘The First HOWL’ Tour

XG’s “The First HOWL” tour spanned 35 cities, delivering 47 performances across continents since its launch. The ambitious tour placed the seven-member group — Jurin, Chisa, Hinata, Maya, Juria, Cocona, and Amy Harvey — at the forefront of Japan-to-global pop crossover acts.

Since debuting in March 2022 with their single “Tippy Toes,” XG has carved out a niche with their genre-defying sound, captivating performances, and striking visuals.

What’s Next for XG?

Fans won’t have to wait long to see more of the group. XG is also scheduled to headline a-nation 2025, one of Japan’s largest summer music festivals, on August 30. Expectations are high for another electrifying performance that will likely feature selections from their upcoming live album.
