Your Guide to the Lollapalooza’s Hottest Spots

Lollapalooza offers so much for festivalgoers each year that it can be quite overwhelming leaving attendees wondering where to start. Well, we’ve got you covered here for day one of this great festival, read on!
Provided you’ve already activated your wristband, you should do so immediately and can do it here. A lot of your overall enjoyment is going to depend on first, whether you’re a morning person or a night owl. The night owls tend not to arrive at the festival grounds until the evening and then typically attend any one of the many official Lollapalooza aftershows throughout the city.
While the early risers can get many added perks by catching a lot of young artists on the verge of making it big, like Chicago’s Scarlet Demore who you can see perform on the Barcardi stage Sunday (set times have just changed this morning from noon to 12:50). See the updated schedule here.

But, let’s not forget about this incredible lineup of world-class artists, including headliners, Hozier, Dadi Freyr, Fisher, Megan Thee Stallion returns tonight, and then, Stray Kids, In This Moment, Zedd, SZA, Future X Metro Boomin, Yoasobi, Skrillex, The Killers, Melanie Martinez, Ben Bohmer, Zeds Dead and Blink-182!
With all these great artists performing on 8 stages, it is easy to miss your favorite artist… well, you may be able to catch them over at the Toyota Music Den or in the Bud Light Backyard. Check the bottom of the schedules to see who they’ll have.
Many fans will arrive early, get to the stage, and stay there all day to see their favorite headliner. If this is you, you know how important it is to stay hydrated, so make sure you’ve got a great reserve of water on hand and be safe, don’t risk your health, there are plenty of great spots to see your favorite artists.
Another one of Lollapalooza’s ‘hottest spots’ is also Lollapalooza’s coolest spots, the BMI stage which is tucked away next to the lake and in the chill vibes of the shady trees. BMI always brings the freshest artists to Lollapalooza and you never know who may make an appearance to create Lollapalooza history (like when Lady Gaga crowd surfed!!)
Today, 19 year old, Mexican-American, Adan Diaz will headline the BMI stage at 6:50. He is an artist who previously was unable to afford tickets to see Lollapalooza, but now has a sweet headlining spot. We’re feeling the Chicago love right there!
Another not-to-be-missed artist, is Chappell Roan on the T-Mobile stage at 5 pm. She never wears the same costume twice and has more than 2.5 million followers on TikTok. A true creative and inspiration!
