Authorities said a woman was discovered unconscious on the bank of Kentucky Lake that night. When she regained consciousness, she initially refused medical treatment but later went to a hospital on August 31, where doctors found injuries consistent with sexual assault.

Connection to Local Glow Party

Investigators say they are aware of a glow party that took place in the Smith Bay area on the same night as the reported assault. The woman confirmed she had attended the gathering before losing consciousness.
