Louisiana Man Confesses to Executing Friend With Gunshot to the Temple, Hiding Body in Dodge Charger Trunk

RESERVE, Louisiana — A 20-year-old Louisiana man was arrested after allegedly executing his acquaintance with a gunshot to the temple and hiding the body in the trunk of his Dodge Charger, according to the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Traffic Stop Leads to Gruesome Discovery
Deputies first responded to a reported shooting on the 300 block of Railroad Avenue in Reserve. Witnesses said an orange Dodge Charger sped away just after gunfire erupted.
Less than 10 minutes later, officers spotted the car parked near the 2700 block of West Airline Highway. When they pulled it over, the driver — identified as Tyler Bourgeois — allegedly told deputies: “There’s a body in the trunk.”
Inside, officers found 21-year-old Tylen Anderson, dead from a gunshot wound to the temple.
Suspect Confesses to Killing
Investigators say Bourgeois confessed to the killing, admitting he and Anderson were riding together when they parked at the scene of the shooting.
A heated argument broke out, and Bourgeois allegedly pulled a gun, shot Anderson in the head, and then stashed his body in the Charger’s trunk.
Sheriff Mike Tregre called the killing an “execution,” noting the single gunshot wound to Anderson’s temple.
Charges and Bond
Bourgeois was charged with second-degree murder and is currently being held in jail on a $250,000 bond. Court records show he was the only person inside the vehicle when officers stopped him.
The shocking confession has rattled the Reserve community, highlighting how a heated dispute between acquaintances turned into a deadly execution-style killing. For more breaking crime stories and justice updates, follow ChicagoMusicGuide.com.
