Authorities said all six people were taken for treatment, but their current conditions remain unknown.
“Occupants from both vehicles were transported from the scene to a local medical facility for treatment,” officials told FOX 56 News, noting that the bypass was shut down in both directions for several hours as crews investigated and cleared the scene.

The roadway was fully reopened by 6:45 p.m., after reconstruction officers completed evidence documentation and debris removal.
Authorities are urging drivers traveling through the Merchant Drive and Bypass area to remain cautious, especially during weekend traffic peaks near commercial zones like the Speedway station.
