JESSAMINE COUNTY, KENTUCKY — A Jessamine County man is behind bars after allegedly breaking into a building and attacking several juveniles, leaving one child with serious injuries, according to local deputies.

The Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office said the incident occurred on Saturday, when officers responded to reports of an assault involving multiple victims. Upon arrival, deputies found several juveniles injured and quickly identified the suspect as Colin Poole.

Suspect Forced Entry and Assaulted Children, Police Say

Investigators reported that Poole was armed with a handgun when he forced his way inside the building where the juveniles were gathered. Once inside, he allegedly attacked multiple victims, with one sustaining severe physical injuries that required immediate medical attention.
