Three People Shot in Separate Milwaukee Incidents During Violent Saturday Night, Police Say

MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN — Police are investigating two separate shootings that left three people injured across Milwaukee on Saturday night, according to the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD).

Both incidents occurred within a half hour of each other on the city’s north and west sides.

Shooting Near 63rd and Nash

The first shooting happened around 10:15 p.m. near 63rd Street and Nash Avenue, where two 34-year-old victims were struck by gunfire.

Authorities said both victims were transported to a nearby hospital and are expected to survive. Police are searching for a suspect connected to the shooting, though no description has been released.

Shooting Near 17th and Lloyd

A second shooting occurred just before 10:45 p.m. near 17th and Lloyd Streets, where a 19-year-old man was shot. He was also taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Detectives believe this incident was unrelated to the earlier shooting, and investigations into both cases remain active.

Police Ask for Public’s Help

MPD is asking anyone with information about either shooting to come forward.
