Owensboro Police Identify Suspect in Weekend Theft Investigation After Public Appeal
OWENSBORO, KY — Owensboro police say they have successfully identified a man connected to a weekend theft investigation after releasing his photo to the public early Sunday morning.
The update was provided at 10:28 a.m. on November 24, just over an hour after the Owensboro Police Department requested community assistance in identifying the person of interest.
Police Released Photo of Suspect to Help Investigation
According to officials, investigators were looking for information about a man seen in a surveillance image wearing:
- A red and white long-sleeve shirt
- A white undershirt with a front design
- Shorts
- Tan shoes
The photograph was shared publicly as part of the department’s ongoing theft case.
Police did not release further details about the nature of the theft or the status of the investigation following the identification.
