ARC Music Festival Expands to Four Days in Chicago With 2026 Lineup Led by House and Electronic Heavyweights
CHICAGO, IL — ARC Music Festival is stretching into a four-day event in 2026, giving Chicago dance fans one more day of programming over Labor Day Weekend. The festival returns to Union Park from Sept. 4 to 7, marking the first time ARC has run across four days since it launched in 2021.
Organizers say the change is meant to make room for a bigger slate of artists and a deeper lineup. The expansion also reflects how quickly the event has grown in a few short years, moving from a two-day format to three days in 2022 and now adding another day.
A lineup built for dance-floor loyalists
The 2026 bill leans heavily into electronic and house music, with Sara Landry bringing her Eternalism show alongside Ki/Ki, The Blessed Madonna, Nia Archives, Michael Bibi, Chris Stussy, Anyma, Underworld, Cloonee, and Chase & Status.
ARC is also planning a series of back-to-back and three-way collaborative sets, a format that should appeal to fans who come to the festival for one-off combinations and longer, club-style programming. The lineup is designed to span different corners of the dance spectrum while keeping the focus on artists who thrive in a festival setting.
Chicago’s house legacy stays at the center
Alongside the international names, ARC is again spotlighting the city that helped shape house music. Green Velvet, Honey Dijon, and Derrick Carter are among the Chicago artists on the bill, reinforcing the festival’s connection to the genre’s birthplace.
Festival partner and lead talent buyer John Curley said the event has been building toward this kind of expansion for some time, noting that the team has wanted more space to book the artists it has been unable to fit into earlier editions. He also said ARC has developed a distinct identity: global in scope, but unmistakably Chicago at its core.
What changes for 2026 and when tickets go on sale
ARC will also debut a new stage area called The Midway. The name draws from several Chicago touchstones, including the historic Midway Plaisance, Midway International Airport, and the old Midway Gardens entertainment complex in Hyde Park.
