BINI and SB19 Sell Out Graton Resort and Casino in Back-To-Back Bay Area Shows as the Filipino Pop Acts Draw Crossover Crowds and Festival Momentum
ROHNERT PARK, CA — Two of the biggest names in Filipino pop turned a small North Bay venue into a packed-out stopover for their U.S. run. BINI and SB19 each sold out shows at The Event inside Graton Resort and Casino in Rohnert Park on consecutive nights.
The size of the room made the booking a surprise to some fans, especially after BINI played the 8,500-capacity Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco last year. This time, the group filled Graton’s 2,000-seat concert space with room to spare.
Why these Bay Area shows mattered to P-pop fans
BINI performed Friday, while SB19 followed on Saturday and Sunday. The overlap gave local fans a rare chance to see two of the genre’s biggest acts in the same weekend, in the same region, with both shows selling out.
The audience was not limited to Filipino fans. According to the report, people from other ethnic and cultural backgrounds also showed up, a sign that both groups have pushed beyond their home community as their profiles have grown.
One concertgoer, Shane Miyuaki-Lachica, said it felt good to see more non-Filipinos now know the artists. That crossover appeal was part of the buzz around both nights, especially for a genre that is increasingly visible outside the Philippines.
A surprise appearance and a shared spotlight
Three SB19 members — Justin, Josh and Stell — were in the crowd for BINI’s show. Fans noticed them as they tried to take their seats, and plenty of phones went up to capture the moment.
BINI made the cameo part of the night, thanking SB19 in Tagalog and calling out the group from the stage. Colet said it was meaningful to be together to bring Filipino music to a global audience, and Maloi urged the crowd to cheer for SB19.
What comes next for both groups
SB19’s Rohnert Park appearance was billed as an “I Was There Thanksgiving Fanmeet,” with fan interaction built into the two-hour set. Some attendees even joined the group on stage, and the Q&A segment gave the night a more personal feel than a standard concert.
The Bay Area stop fit into a wider stretch of U.S. momentum for both acts. BINI had performed in Las Vegas the night after its Friday show and in San Diego on Sunday, while SB19 last played the region in July 2025 at the Fox Theatre in Redwood City. Both groups are headed to Japan for Summer Sonic this weekend.
