Bowling Green Police Seek Suspects After $6,500 in Construction Tools and Trailer Stolen
BOWLING GREEN, KENTUCKY — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects involved in two connected thefts that occurred last month, resulting in the loss of more than $6,500 in construction materials and equipment, according to authorities.
The Bowling Green Police Department said the first incident happened on October 17 at a construction site on Lovers Lane, where several battery-powered hand tools were stolen.
Surveillance Footage Links Thefts
Shortly after the initial theft, surveillance cameras captured what appeared to be the same suspects stealing a trailer from a business on Ken Bale Boulevard.
Police confirmed the trailer has since been recovered, but the individuals responsible for both thefts remain at large. Investigators believe the incidents may be connected, given the timing and proximity of the two crimes.
The combined value of the stolen equipment and trailer is estimated at more than $6,500.
