Brookfield Police Seek Suspect in Dick’s Sporting Goods Theft

BROOKFIELD, WISCONSIN — Police in Brookfield are asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of stealing hundreds of dollars in merchandise from Dick’s Sporting Goods earlier this month.
According to the Brookfield Police Department, the theft occurred around 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 12, at the Dick’s Sporting Goods store on Discovery Drive, located off Bluemound Road west of Calhoun.
Investigators said the suspect entered the store and took approximately $370 worth of items before leaving the scene without paying.
Suspect Description and Vehicle
Police described the suspect as a Black male, about 6 feet 3 inches tall, with short black hair, facial hair, and a medium build.
He was last seen leaving the store in what appeared to be a blue or gray SUV or pickup truck.
Authorities have released surveillance images from the store and are asking residents to help identify the individual.
