Church Releases Prerecorded Concerts for 2025 Global Youth Music Festival

UTAH — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has officially released prerecorded concerts for its 2025 youth music festival, now available online in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. These global musical celebrations are designed to uplift and unite youth through faith-driven performances from the popular “Strive to Be” collective.
Global Celebration Through Music
The event — titled Festival 2025: A Youth Concert — was filmed earlier this year across three continents. The English-language performance was recorded at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah; the Spanish version in Mexico City, Mexico; and the Portuguese concert in São Paulo, Brazil.
Each concert blends musical numbers from recent “Strive to Be” albums with personal spiritual messages from the performing artists. Youth viewers are encouraged to sing along and participate either by attending local events or hosting their own.
Three Ways to Join the Festival
The Church has encouraged youth groups worldwide to host their own localized celebrations using one of three approaches:
- Stream a prerecorded concert and sing along together
- Host live concerts using local talent performing the same setlist
- Create unique music events based on their own interpretation and needs
No matter the approach, every gathering held on or after August 7, 2025, will officially be part of the Church’s 2025 youth music festival.
Artist Lineups Across Languages
The English-language concert features several well-known “Strive to Be” artists, including:
- Benjamin Taylor
- Liahona Olayan
- Ashley Hess
- Patch Crowe
- Reina Ley
- Rylee Paige
- And many more
During the taping, Benjamin Taylor told the crowd of nearly 2,000 youth,
“This is not about performance. This is about our Savior, Jesus Christ… We celebrate our faith in Him.”
The Spanish-language concert includes performances from artists such as Naxhieli Mellin Martínez Cruz, Jacob Abinadi Peralta Dominguez, and Alejandra Areli Enciso González.
The Portuguese concert showcases Beatriz Marmelo, Nicole Luz, João Daniel, and Gabrielly Lourenço, among others.
Watch the Concerts Online
Youth and leaders can access the concerts for free on the Church’s official YouTube channel or via the event website.
The Church has also provided planning resources for leaders and youth organizers to help guide the local celebrations, emphasizing youth leadership and spiritual intent.
“Music has a unique ability to affect youth,” the Church noted. “In-person music experiences can be a wonderful way for youth to gather and strengthen their faith in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.”
