Coal Region Music Fest Returns with Two Full Days of Rock, Country & Blues for Veterans

POTTSVILLE, PA – The Coal Region Music Fest for Veterans is making a comeback on August 22–23, expanding to a two-day event at the Schuylkill County Fairgrounds. The festival brings a vibrant mix of rock, country, and blues—and all proceeds go to Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, providing essential help to veterans in need.
A Bigger Celebration of Music & Community
Following a successful debut last year, organizers, led by Bryan Thompson, are ramping things up. “We were really impressed with the turnout and help from the community,” Thompson said, reflecting on 2024’s event.
Day 1 (Friday, Aug. 22) – Friday Night Rock
All performances take place on the Alpha Stage, starting near sunset:

- Eyes on Saturn
- Another Side
- Zenith
Day 2 (Saturday, Aug. 23) – Music from Morning to Headliner
The festival splits across two stages:
- 11:00 AM – Converse Kid (Main Stage)
- Nothing Fancy (Bravo Stage)
- P71, Project 9, Adrenaline, Bliss, Coal Blooded, Orox
- 8:20–9:40 PM – Headliner Jeremiah James
