Born and raised in Chicago, my life has been dedicated to academics and the arts. At a young age, I was a child actor and model for Disney. And as I have gotten older, I have discovered my love for music. My passion for music comes from its unique ability to tell a story, send a message, express feeling, and unite myriad people all at once.
I was professionally trained on the Southside of Chicago by Dr. Lena McLin, a veteran vocal coach and composer. I am an alumnus of the Soul Children of Chicago Choir and The Inspiration A Capella Group at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to singing, I also write lyrics, produce tracks, and play the drums.
With the help and support of my family and close friends, I am paving a path to be a successful musician in the near future. I am currently in the process of working on a freshman album titled VANTABLACK (named after the blackest color ever made), as well as several EP projects. These will feature thoughtful lyrics with influence from the Hip Hop, Neo-Soul, Alt Rock, and “Lo-fi” music genres.
I am a 21-year-old graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, with a degree in Cognitive Neuroscience and Linguistics.
