Feds Indict Six Lexington Men in Murder-for-Hire Plot to Silence Federal Witness

LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY – A federal grand jury has indicted six men in the 2023 murder of Kristopher “Kris” Lewis, alleging they carried out a murder-for-hire conspiracy to prevent him from testifying in a pending federal case involving drug trafficking and money laundering.
Murder-for-Hire Scheme to Stop Witness
According to court records unsealed in the Eastern District of Kentucky, the indictment names:
- William Quejohn “Money/Que” Dixon, 28
- Rollie Deshawn “Ral-O” Lamar, 32
- Daquis Damarr “Killer Quis” Sharp, 27
- Desmond Elijah “Bibby” Bellomy, 26
- Jatiece Alvin “Baba” Parks, 21
- DeAngelo Montavius “Doja” Boone, 26
Federal prosecutors allege the group used cellphones, cash, and interstate travel to plan and execute the September 29, 2023 shooting of Lewis in Fayette County, killing him to stop his testimony in criminal proceedings against Lamar.
The indictment states that several members of the group “killed Kristopher Lewis by shooting him with one or more firearms” to obstruct justice in Lamar’s federal narcotics case.
Death Penalty Possible
All six defendants face charges including:
- Witness tampering through killing
- Conspiracy to tamper with a witness
- Use of interstate facilities in a murder-for-hire
- Conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire
- Conspiracy to use a firearm during a crime of violence
Federal prosecutors also filed special findings making several of the counts death-eligible, citing evidence of intent to kill, payment for the crime, and substantial premeditation.
One defendant, Lamar, faces an additional enhancement because prosecutors say he committed the offense while on federal pretrial release.
“This was a calculated and deliberate act to obstruct justice,” prosecutors wrote in the indictment.
Case Timeline and Court Appearances
The grand jury returned the indictment on October 2, 2025, and it was unsealed six days later following Boone’s arrest.
- Oct. 8: Boone appeared in court and pleaded not guilty.
- Oct. 20: Boone’s detention hearing is scheduled in Lexington.
- Nov. 12–14: Arraignments set for Dixon, Bellomy, and Lamar.
- Dec. 2: Jury trial currently scheduled in Frankfort, though delays are expected.
Defense counsel for the accused includes Jeffrey Rager, Diane Menashe, Karloff Commissiong, Edward Rymsza, and others appointed through the federal public defender’s office. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Mary Lauren Melton and G. Todd Bradbury are prosecuting the case.
Lexington’s Largest Federal Murder Case in Years
If convicted, the men could face life in prison or the death penalty. Prosecutors are also seeking the forfeiture of firearms, vehicles, and cash connected to the crime.
The Lexington Times reports that this is one of the largest federal homicide indictments in the city’s history, marking a significant escalation in the government’s focus on organized witness intimidation linked to drug trafficking networks.
An indictment is not evidence of guilt; all six men are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
