Kentucky High School Football Coach Arrested on Stalking and Indecent Exposure Charges

OWINGSVILLE, KENTUCKY — A Rowan County High School football coach has been arrested and charged with stalking and indecent exposure following allegations that he repeatedly exposed himself to multiple victims, including an elderly woman, according to police reports.

Authorities say Kris Krolikowski, 27, was taken into custody on October 2 after several witnesses came forward accusing him of exposing his genitals in public and leaving explicit notes on victims’ properties. He is facing two counts of indecent exposure and one count of stalking, all misdemeanor offenses.

Police Reports Detail Disturbing Pattern of Behavior

According to the Owingsville Police Department (OPD), officers received multiple complaints on October 2 from residents reporting indecent exposure. Assistant Chief Justin Sutherland responded to a residence where three victims described similar encounters with Krolikowski.

Police said witnesses alleged that Krolikowski had been “doing this for a long period of time.” One of the victims, a 76-year-old woman, told officers that the coach had been exposing himself to her for several months and even left handwritten notes on her property.

“He would write notes telling her when he would be exposing himself and from which window she should look,” OPD stated in a public post.

Investigators collected photo evidence that reportedly corroborated the victims’ statements.

School District and Law Enforcement Involvement

Police confirmed that Krolikowski was an assistant football coach at Rowan County High School and also listed as a substitute teacher, though the district stated he had not worked in a classroom this school year.

The Rowan County School District verified Krolikowski’s employment status but declined to provide further comment. Superintendent Michael Rowe did not respond to requests for statements regarding the ongoing investigation.

A temporary protective order was filed on behalf of one of the victims, and Krolikowski was ordered to surrender all firearms as part of his release conditions, according to court documents. His cash bond was set at $1,500.

Next Court Appearance Scheduled

Krolikowski is expected to appear in Bath District Court on October 7 for his arraignment hearing. The investigation remains active, and additional charges could be filed depending on further evidence.

The case has sparked public concern in Rowan County, where residents have called for increased background screening and oversight of school staff involved with students and extracurricular programs.
