Kentucky Man Sentenced to 30 Years for Raping 6-Month-Old Baby

WEBSTER COUNTY, Ky. — A 26-year-old Kentucky man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to the rape and abuse of a 6-month-old baby, in what prosecutors described as one of the most horrific abuse cases in recent memory.
Sentencing Details
According to the Kentucky Attorney General’s Office, Mykill Puckett admitted guilt to charges of rape, assault, and criminal abuse of a child.
As part of his plea deal, Puckett:
- Will serve 30 years in prison with no eligibility for probation
- Will be subject to five years of supervised release upon completion of his sentence
- Must register as a sex offender for life
Victim Required Emergency Care
Authorities said the 6-month-old baby sustained severe injuries and had to be flown to a hospital for emergency treatment. Details of the child’s current condition have not been released to protect the victim’s privacy.
