Lexington Police Searching for Killer After Man Found Shot to Death in Lakebow Court Home

LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY — Police are searching for a suspect still at large after a man was found shot to death inside a home on Lakebow Court Friday afternoon, according to the Lexington Police Department and the Fayette County Coroner’s Office.

Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Lakebow Court around midday for what was initially reported as a death investigation. When they arrived, they discovered a man lying in the living room with a single gunshot wound, officials confirmed.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and investigators quickly classified the case as a homicide. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity pending family notification.

Suspect Remains at Large, Police Seek Public’s Help

The Fayette County Coroner confirmed that the shooter or shooters remain unidentified and at large, prompting an active search by Lexington detectives.
