Lines of Loyalty Releases Debut Single, “I’m Not the One”

While they may not be from Chicago, Kenosha-based Alternative rock band “Lines of Loyalty” (formally known as Mixed Company) released their debut single under their new alias, “Lines of Loyalty,” titled “I’m Not the One,” February 19th, 2021. The band features Glenn (Nubz) Morrison on guitar and lead vocals, Redo Ianni on Bass and backing vocals, and Shane Madson on the drums.

“I’m Not the One,” showcases the band’s strong songwriting ability taking a heavy and chaotic verse and quickly and creatively transitioning to an incredibly catchy chorus that will have you singing for days. The band also shows their softer side with what can be best described as a ballad section. Filled with clean guitar and calmer, but just as deep lyrics that once again transition to that amazingly captivating chorus.

In conjunction with their fantastic songwriting, the band also showcases their profound and creative way of telling a story and spreading a message through their lyrics. Ianni spoke about the song and stated that “I’m Not the One,” is about fighting your inner demon and how you have to keep fighting no matter how hard it gets.

Lines of Loyalty has shared the stage with many large artists such as Puddle of Mudd, Saving Abel, Saliva, Royal Bliss, Local H, Tantric, and even toured with Pop Evil before the pandemic last year. Lines of Loyalty is on the rise, and their debut single is without a doubt worth a listen or two.
