Around 7:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to a reported armed robbery in the 100 block of West New Circle Road. Police learned that the same vehicle linked to the earlier shooting had pulled into a business parking lot, where Peak allegedly stole another vehicle at gunpoint.

Witnesses reported a chaotic scene as the suspect quickly fled the area in the newly stolen vehicle.
