Louisville Police Investigating Hit-and-Run After Juvenile Boy Struck by Vehicle in Taylor Berry Neighborhood Sunday Afternoon
LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY — Louisville Metro Police have launched an investigation after a juvenile boy was struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run Sunday afternoon in the city’s Taylor Berry neighborhood. The incident occurred around 1:15 p.m. in the 1400 block of Arcade Avenue, between Taylor Boulevard and 7th Street Road.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said the child was transported to Norton Children’s Hospital for evaluation. Despite the impact, officers reported no obvious signs of injury when medical crews arrived.
Police Searching for Driver After Vehicle Fled the Scene
The crash is being treated as a hit-and-run, but investigators currently have no available description of the vehicle involved.
Detectives are reviewing area information and speaking with residents in hopes of gathering additional details.
Authorities emphasize that even when injuries appear minimal, leaving the scene of a collision—especially involving a minor—can carry severe criminal consequences.

Louisville Metro Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, has home or business surveillance footage, or saw a suspicious vehicle leaving the area to come forward.
