Louisville Woman Accused of Trashing Little Caesars Over $1 Sauce Charge Faces Felony Charges

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky — A 32-year-old woman is facing felony charges after police say she trashed a Little Caesars restaurant in Louisville when employees told her that additional sauces would cost $1.
Outburst Over Extra Sauce Fee
According to court documents, Breanna Haynes became enraged during a January 24 visit to the Little Caesars on North 22nd Street after being told she would need to pay for extra sauce. Staff had already given her one sauce cup for free, but when she demanded more, she refused to pay the fee.
Police say Haynes began knocking items off the counter, including a custom-made computer stand and the cash register, before running out of the store. Surveillance video reportedly captured the incident, which caused over $1,000 in damages.
Charges and Court Proceedings
It took nearly seven months for police to investigate and file charges. Haynes was later arrested and charged with first-degree criminal mischief. At her arraignment, a Jefferson County judge ordered her to stay away from the restaurant and its employees.
Haynes bonded out of jail but is due back in court this Wednesday. In her mugshot, police noted she appeared visibly upset, with tears in her eyes.
Community Reactions
The bizarre case has caught public attention, with many residents expressing disbelief that a $1 sauce dispute escalated into a felony-level property destruction case. The Little Caesars location has since reopened with no injuries reported among staff.
The incident underscores how quickly small disputes can spiral into major criminal charges. For more breaking updates and community crime coverage, follow ChicagoMusicGuide.com.
