Man Fatally Shot in Louisville’s Algonquin Neighborhood, Police Investigating

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man was shot and killed in Louisville’s Algonquin neighborhood on Saturday night, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD).

Shooting on Wilart Drive

Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 10:47 p.m. in the 1700 block of Wilart Drive. When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigation Status

Police said that all parties involved have been identified and accounted for, though no arrests have been made as of Sunday morning.

Officials have not released the victim’s identity, pending notification of family members.
