Man Shot in Louisville’s Southside Neighborhood, Hospitalized With Non-Life-Threatening Injuries

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police are investigating after a man was shot Wednesday evening in Louisville’s Southside neighborhood, leaving him hospitalized with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

Shooting Reported on Southside Drive

According to Louisville Metro Police, officers responded around 6 p.m. to a reported shooting in the 6600 block of Southside Drive. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to UofL Hospital, where he is being treated for injuries described as non-life-threatening, police said.

Investigation Underway

At this time, investigators have not identified any suspects, and no arrests have been made. Police have not yet released further details about the circumstances of the shooting.
