Manchester Woman Arrested After Wrong-Way Crash on I-93 in Concord

CONCORD, N.H. – A Manchester woman was arrested late Sunday after allegedly driving the wrong way and causing a head-on crash on Interstate 93 near Exit 12 in Concord.
According to New Hampshire State Police, dispatchers began receiving calls about a wrong-way driver traveling northbound around 11:32 p.m. on September 21, 2025. Minutes later, troopers were informed of a head-on collision in the same area.
Vehicles Disabled in Crash
When troopers arrived at 11:36 p.m., they found a 2023 red Jeep Wrangler disabled in the right travel lane near Exit 12S and a 2011 black Chevrolet Silverado disabled in the breakdown lane near Exit 12N. Both drivers were evaluated on scene, and fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The Jeep driver, identified as Sandra Ouellette, 57, of Manchester, was arrested on charges of DUI, criminal mischief, and reckless conduct.
Court Appearance Scheduled
Police confirmed that Ouellette was released on personal recognizance and is scheduled to appear in Concord District Court on Friday, October 10, 2025.
Traffic along I-93 northbound was diverted off Exit 12S for about an hour while authorities investigated and cleared the roadway.
The Bow Police Department and Concord Fire Department assisted state troopers in responding to the incident.
