Milwaukee Police Urgently Searching for Missing 10-Year-Old Boy Last Seen Thursday Afternoon

MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN — The Milwaukee Police Department is asking for the public’s help to locate a critically missing 10-year-old boy, identified as Julian Jackson Smith, who was last seen Thursday afternoon on the city’s west side.

Authorities said Julian was last spotted around 3 p.m. near 52nd and Center Street, wearing a navy-blue letterman jacket with white stripes, gray joggers, and black and purple shoes.

Police Describe Missing Child

According to police, Julian is described as being 4 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 100 pounds, with brown eyes and curly hair.

Investigators say the child may be walking or riding a light blue scooter in the area. Police have not confirmed whether the boy may have been seen traveling alone or with anyone else.

“We are asking anyone who may have seen Julian or has information about his whereabouts to contact us immediately,” said a Milwaukee Police spokesperson.

Community Urged to Assist in Search

The Milwaukee Police Department District 7 is leading the search effort, which now includes canvassing nearby neighborhoods and reviewing doorbell camera footage.

Police are urging local residents to check their yards, garages, alleys, and home surveillance systems for any possible signs of the missing boy.

“Time is critical in situations like this,” authorities emphasized. “The more eyes looking for Julian, the better the chance we have to bring him home safely.”
