Where to Catch the Concerts

Concerts will alternate between two venues on the fairgrounds:

  • Chevy Court, located near the main entrance, hosts daily free shows at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
  • Suburban Park, on the western end of the fairgrounds, is home to larger-scale evening concerts with enhanced production.

Both venues are general admission, meaning fairgoers can enjoy performances by simply showing up early to grab a good spot — no extra ticket required.

More Acts Expected to Be Announced

The current roster includes 15 major acts, but officials from the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets confirmed that more performers will be announced in the coming weeks. Traditionally, surprise guest announcements are made leading up to and during the fair.

A Festival Atmosphere With a Local Twist

Beyond the music, the New York State Fair 2025 will feature its usual lineup of:

  • Award-winning livestock exhibits
  • Local food and drink vendors (hello, fried Oreos!)
  • Rides and midway attractions
  • Cultural and agricultural showcases
  • A new “NY Made” Pavilion focused on artisan creators from across the state

Planning Your Visit

The fair runs from August 20 to September 1, 2025, at the NYS Fairgrounds in Syracuse. General admission tickets are $6 for adults, with free entry for children under 12 and seniors over 65.
