INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana — A multi-vehicle crash on I-465 in Marion County Wednesday night left one person dead and another hospitalized, according to the Indiana State Police.

The collision occurred around 8:58 p.m. near East 71st Street, prompting an INDOT Traffic Management Center alert that shut down the three right lanes of I-465 northbound.

Authorities confirmed the crash involved three vehicles, including a semi truck.

Victims Identified by Outcome

Police said one person died at the scene. Another individual was transported to a hospital for treatment, though their condition has not been released.
