One Dead, Woman Injured in Nicholasville Shooting on Edgewood Drive, Police Say

NICHOLASVILLE, Kentucky — Police are investigating a deadly shooting in Nicholasville that left one man dead and a woman injured Thursday morning on Edgewood Drive.

Police Respond to Morning Shooting

According to the Nicholasville Police Department, officers were called to a home on Edgewood Drive around 9:30 a.m.. When they arrived, they discovered a man dead from gunshot wounds and a woman who had also been shot. Police said the woman was rushed to the hospital, where she remains in stable condition.

Suspect Cooperating With Detectives

Authorities confirmed that the alleged shooter is cooperating with investigators and is currently being interviewed by detectives.
