According to the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred near the 59-mile marker. The suspect, described as Hispanic, approximately 350 pounds, was reportedly last seen wearing a white shirt and gray sweatpants. Deputies noted the man was barefoot when he ran from the vehicle.
