Southeast Wisconsin Weather: Rain Overnight Followed by Cool, Pleasant Weekend

MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN – After a crisp, fall-like day across Southeast Wisconsin, residents can expect overnight showers and gusty winds before a stretch of cool but pleasant weekend weather sets in.

Rain Arrives Late Tonight

Thursday began with morning lows in the 40s and afternoon highs only in the 60s, well below the seasonal average. Clouds will thicken tonight as a weak system pushes in, bringing a chance for light showers around 10 p.m., with the best rain chances after midnight.

Meteorologists expect only about a tenth of an inch of rainfall, but gusty winds could make the overnight hours feel blustery. Winds will shift from the south to west, with gusts reaching up to 35 mph.

Breezy and Cool Friday

Friday will bring partly cloudy skies with lingering gusty winds out of the west at 15–25 mph. Temperatures will remain below average, with highs around 63°F.

Weekend Forecast

  • Saturday: Partly cloudy, breezy, and cool. Highs near 64°F.
  • Sunday: Mostly sunny with calmer winds and highs around 65°F.
  • Monday: Sunny and pleasant, warming slightly with highs near 70°F.

Despite cooler-than-average highs, forecasters say the weekend will offer plenty of dry, comfortable conditions for outdoor plans.

Southeast Wisconsin is settling into a decidedly fall-like pattern, with shorter days, cooler air, and crisp evenings becoming the norm. For continued updates on weather and seasonal changes across the Midwest, follow ChicagoMusicGuide.com.
