Three Women Injured in Separate Louisville Shootings Over Eight-Hour Span

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police are investigating three separate shootings that left three women injured in Louisville between late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.

First Shooting on Wabash Place

According to Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) spokesperson Dwight Mitchell, the first incident happened around 10:34 p.m. Saturday in the 5000 block of Wabash Place.

A woman was shot in the arm and taken to UofL Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Second Shooting on W. Madison Street

Just before 3:30 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to the 2600 block of W. Madison Street for another reported shooting.

Police said they found a woman who had been shot. She was transported to UofL Hospital, also with non-life-threatening injuries.

Third Shooting on Hopeful Way

The third incident occurred shortly after 6:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of Hopeful Way.

Officers found a woman who had been shot in the leg. She was taken to UofL Hospital with injuries that were described as non-life-threatening.

Investigation Ongoing

LMPD has not released details about possible suspects or motives in any of the cases. All three investigations remain active.
