Three Years After Triple Shooting on Bradley Court, Lexington Investigators Still Searching for Answers in Unsolved Homicide

LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY — Three years after a deadly triple shooting on Bradley Court, investigators in Lexington are once again asking the public for help identifying those responsible for the killing of Tyron Shaw, a 2022 homicide that remains unsolved despite ongoing efforts by detectives and community partners.

Officers Found Three Men Shot on Bradley Court in December 2022

Police say the case began in December 2022, when officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Bradley Court for reports of gunfire. When they arrived, they found three men lying on the sidewalk, all suffering from gunshot wounds.

According to the Fayette County Coroner’s Office, Tyron Shaw was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other victims survived the attack — one with life-threatening injuries, the other with non-life-threatening wounds. Both were transported to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.

Investigators say no arrests were made at the time, and the case has remained open ever since.

Bluegrass Crime Stoppers Calls for Community Assistance

Detectives continue to work the case but say they need the public’s help to move the investigation forward. Bluegrass Crime Stoppers is urging residents to come forward with any information, emphasizing that even small details may help identify those involved.

Community members can submit tips anonymously by:

Investigators Hope Renewed Attention Sparks New Leads

Police say that with three years passed, witnesses may now feel safer sharing what they know. Detectives believe someone in the community has information that could help solve Shaw’s killing and provide closure to his family.

The Lexington Police Department continues to review evidence, interview witnesses, and collaborate with regional crime analysts in hopes of identifying the shooter or shooters responsible for the December 2022 attack.
