Two Killed, One Seriously Injured in Head-On Crash on MO 210 Highway

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A head-on collision on MO 210 Highway near Missouri City left two men dead and a woman with life-threatening injuries early Saturday morning, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Details of the Crash
The accident occurred just before 5:45 a.m. Saturday when an 18-year-old woman driving eastbound in a Chevrolet Malibu crossed the center line and struck a Ford F-150 traveling westbound.
“The impact forced the Chevrolet off the left side of the roadway and the Ford off the right side,” MSHP reported in its crash log.
Both vehicles sustained heavy damage, and emergency crews were dispatched immediately to the scene.
Victims Identified
The passenger of the Ford, a 60-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Ford, a 62-year-old man, was transported to North Kansas City Hospital, where he died just before 6:40 a.m.
The driver of the Chevrolet Malibu was also taken to North Kansas City Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Authorities have not released the names of those involved as notifications to family members are pending.
Ongoing Investigation
The Missouri State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash to determine what led the Malibu to cross the center line.
“This is an active investigation, and additional details will be released once available,” officials said.
No information has been provided yet on whether impairment, speed, or weather conditions were contributing factors.
